General

This is a legally binding contract between the property owner, ‘JnG Holiday Home’ and the holidaymaker. The property owner is also referred to as "we" and "us".

The holidaymaker is the person who signs the booking form or, in the case of online booking, the person who makes the online payment. This person is responsible for ensuring all members of the holiday party accept and adhere to these terms and conditions. The holidaymaker is also referred to as "you".

The property referred to being JnG Holiday Home at Bunn Leisure, Paddock Lane, Selsey, PO20 9EJ. This may also be referred to as “caravan” or “holiday home”.


Bookings

A booking deposit is payable within SEVEN days of the provisional booking being taken. The booking is taken on a provisional basis until the deposit has been paid in full and funds cleared through the banking system (where appropriate). The booking then becomes confirmed. Until the booking is confirmed, it can be cancelled at any time without prior notice.

The balance of the rental charge, along with the breakage deposit, is payable not less than SIX weeks prior to the start of the holiday. Failure to pay the deposit or balance in full by the due dates will constitute a cancellation of the holiday by the holidaymaker. Please be sure to note the due dates of these payments as reminders are not routinely issued.

Bookings made less than SIX weeks prior to the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

 

Bookings from persons under the age of 21 cannot be accepted unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.


Cancellation by the Holidaymaker

Cancellation of the booking by the holidaymaker should be made in writing via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.


Cancellation charges are as follows:

1 week or less notice     100% of the booking

2 weeks or less             85% of the booking

3 weeks or less             60% of the booking

4 weeks or less             50% of the booking

5 week or less               40% of the booking

6 weeks or less             30% of the booking

More than 6 weeks        Deposit only

Cancellations of less than 6 weeks will carry a minimum cancellation charge of the deposit value plus the value of entertainment passes. For example if 30% of the booking is less than the deposit paid, the deposit will be the cancellation charge plus the value of the passes (available on request).

 

This includes where we may have given you free passes as part of your holiday we will have paid for this at the six week point, so this charge would be passed on.

 

We strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.



Cancellation by the Property Owner

JnG Holiday Home will endeavour to make sure the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event the property becomes not available and we have to cancel the booking, we will endeavour to find the holidaymaker suitable alternative accommodation. If suitable alternative accommodation cannot be found, the holidaymaker shall be entitled to a full refund. JnG Holiday Home shall only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.


Number of Guests

The maximum number of people entitled to stay at this property is SIX persons with a maximum of FIVE adults. Furthermore, only those people named on the booking form are entitled to stay. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and the holidaymaker and his/her party will be asked to leave immediately without any refund. Sub letting or assignation of the let is prohibited. We are forbidden by Bunn Leisure to accept single sex groups. The lead holidaymaker must be over the age of 21.
 

 

Smoking

The property is strictly non-smoking. In order to comply with legislation holidaymakers are expected to not smoke in any of the pubs, clubs, restaurants and indoor venues. You will be liable for any damaged cause through smoking. If it is found that there is smoking in the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and the holidaymaker and his/her party will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.


Pets

Pets are NOT allowed in the property. If it is found that pets have been allowed in the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and the holidaymaker and his/her party will be asked to leave immediately without any refund. We will also seek to recover any additional cleaning costs incurred by us.


Arrival and Departure Time

Every effort will be made to have the property available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. The property must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure. Late departure will result in an additional charge being made.
 

 

Keys

 

Keys can be collected from Bunn Leisure on their White Horse Reception from 15:00 on the day of arrival. In order to collect keys you will require a Holiday arrival form which will be provided by us upon receipt of full payment. Keys should also be returned to this same reception by 11:00 on the day of departure.

 

You will be provided with TWO sets of keys both of which must be returned. Loss of keys can result in an additional charge being made to change locks and have replacement keys cut.

 

 

Liability


We take no responsibility for the personal possessions of the holidaymaker or the holidaymaker's party. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the holidaymaker. JnG Holiday Home will not be responsible for loss or damage to accessories or contents.

Children must be supervised at all times.


Cleaning

Although we have the caravan fully cleaned at the end of your stay, we would like to think the holidaymaker and party would treat the property as they would their own home and at the end of the holiday the property is left in a clean and tidy condition. We retain the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a similar condition to the way it was found at the start of the holiday.


Entertainment Passes

 

If you have entertainment passes included within your holiday this will be provided to you at the point of check in based upon the names and ages you provide to us, it is therefore very important that you check the details provided on your arrival form. Entertainment passes are non-refundable. If we have included free entertainment passes for you, you may still be liable for the cost of these if you cancel with less than 6 weeks notice (please see cancellation section) Prams and pushchairs may not be allowed into entertainment venues.



The Site

 

The site on which the property is situated is owned and managed by Bunn Leisure. We can accept no responsibility for the availability of any facilities on site. Please make sure you are aware of any site rules and conditions.

 

Bunn Leisure reserve the right to refuse to hand over accommodation to any person who in the opinion of the manager, is not suitable to take charge or is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to property, danger or significant annoyance to others, the contract may be terminated. The holidaymaker shall also be liable for any damages caused in the holiday home.

 

Children under the age of 12 and non-swimmers are not allowed to use the swimming pools unless accompanied by an adult. Under 16’s are not allowed in the health suite and fitness centre.

 

Onsite parking and other regulations are in accordance with local authority regulations. Bunn Leisure does not allow commercial vehicles or campervans on site.

 

Ball games are not permitted near caravans or built up areas, please use the areas provided.

 

Boats/Jet skis and such watercraft are not permitted to be parked by caravans or in Bunn Leisure parks, storage facilities are available on request directly to Bunn Leisure.

 

Please note that work to improve the complex on White Horse will be taking place from September 2017 to late 2018 which will mean some facilities are unavailable on this part of the park. The Waterfront Complex and Viking Dance Club are still open as normal. The Viking is only 5 minute walk from the caravan.


 

Wifi

 

We offer free WiFi in our holiday home for which the password can be found at the van. Whilst we do our best to ensure continuity of service any downtime may be out of our control. By using the WiFi service you agree not to use this for illegal purposes, this includes but is not limited to threatening behaviour, child pornography, pirating of music or video.


Breakages

The holidaymaker should make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday. Any accidental dame or breakages should be reported to JnG Holiday Home (or their representative) prior to departure. We retain the right to make an additional charge for damage and breakages although it should be noted that minor breakages and reasonable wear and tear (in the opinion of JnG Holiday Home) will not be charged for.
 

 

Certified Renter

 

We are part of the Bunn Leisure Independent Letting Scheme which means we have been certified by site to rent out our holiday home. You can verify our status at anytime with Bunn Leisure. Please be aware of renters who are not certified by Bunn Leisure as this is a breach of site conditions and often results in a loss of holiday and money. Being part of this scheme ensures that we are fully compliant with gas and electrical safety tests.

 

 

Miscellaneous

Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, over time, alterations are made and some things do change. The holidaymaker accepts that no refunds are available for such discrepancies.

JnG Holiday Home and Bunn Leisure reserve the right to enter the property (without prior notice if this is not possible or practical) if special circumstances or emergencies occur (e.g urgent repairs need to be carried out) or if we believe that you may be breaching these terms and conditions.

JnG Holiday Home reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, who in the property owner's opinion is not suitable to or capable of taking charge of the property.


We reserve the right to ask the holidaymaker and their party to leave the property, without refund, should the behaviour of the holidaymaker and/or their party be considered by us or Bunn Leisure to be unreasonable.
 


Lost Property

Whilst every effort will be made to return lost property, JnG Holiday Home and Bunn Leisure cannot accept responsibility for lost items/items left after departure. Lost property will be held for one month after departure.

 

 

Complaints

Every endeavour is made to ensure your stay with us is memorable for all the right reasons. However, we do recognise that from to time things do go wrong. In these circumstances, it is the responsibility of the holidaymaker to make any such problem known to JnG Holiday Home (or our representative) immediately it becomes apparent, thereby giving us the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained.

JnG Holiday Home will make every endeavour to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.


Return of Breakage Deposit

Your breakage deposit, minus any deductions, will be returned to you within SEVEN days of the departure.
